The new Acer Aspire One 523G has been unveiled at Computex 2010. The netbook features a 10.1-inch high definition LED-backlit display with a 1.66GHz Intel Atom N450 CPU, a 512MB nVidia ION 2 graphics and nVidia’s new Optimus automatic switching technology. The nVidia Optimus technology instantly directs the workload through the most efficient processor for the job, extending battery life by up to 2 times compared to similarly configured systems equipped with discrete graphics processors. This technology also allows the battery to provide up to 10-hour of operation time. Other features include an integrated Wi-Fi and an optional 3G. Available in Sapphire Blue, Ruby Red and Pearl Silver, the highly efficient Acer Aspire One 532G will be shipped at the end of Q1 2010.
